Joumana Kidd is a television reporter
for NBA Entertainment and has covered a breadth of activities including NBA
playoff games, All-Star Weekend, charity functions and other special events.
She recently signed a contract with Extra and has hosted segments such as
Bobbi Brown’s book signing and New York’s Fashion Week.
She began her media career as the co-host of a weekly sports show with
KPNX-12, the NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona. Her stories included
interviews with professional athletes and special event coverage. She
co-hosted “Talk’in Sports”, a radio show that focuses on the positive side
of sports. She appeared in the movie,“Whiplash,” which debuted at the
Sundance Film Festival in 2001.
Before starting her television career, Joumana served as a marketing
representative for Anheuser-Busch and modeled for various agencies. She was
the spokesmodel for Tereme de Salsomaggiore Skin Care in 2000.
A graduate of San Francisco State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech
Communications and a minor in Cultural Communications, she is Vice President
of the Jason Kidd Foundation and the spokesperson for the North Shore Animal
League. Additionally, she is active on several boards including the Yogi
Berra Museum, the Nets/Devils Foundation, Arizona Heart Ball, Crisis
Nursery, and Do-Something.
She and her husband, Jason Kidd, have three children, Trey Jason (4) and
twin baby girls Miah and Jazelle.
