in Baltimore, Maryland. Nicole Ari Parker knew that she always wanted to
be an actress. In her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland she participated in the
Baltimore Actors Theatre and the Washington Ballet Company before moving to New
York to study acting at New York University. Parker is a graduate of the Tisch
School of the Arts, Circle in the Square studio. Her film credits include
Blue Streak, Boogie Nights, The End of Violence, Subway Stories, 200 Cigarettes
and Sebastian Cole, a winner at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival. She is
know probably best known for her role on Soul Food the Showtime TV show as Teri.
