A Tribute to Aaliyah Honey of the Week
Ok, so we as all know, we have lost another one of our angels. Aaliyah Dana Haughton died Saturday, August 25, 2001 from a plane crash. Now I know that everyone has seen all of the news reports and everything else, but I wanted to recognize her on here as well. It is such a loss for us to loose her now, when she is in the prime of her life. There are so many things that are being said that can't be confirmed for sure. It does appear as though she did finish shooting the new Anne Rice film, Queen of the Damned. I've also just read that two weeks ago, Aaliyah did shoot a video for More than a Woman. She also did finish filming the video for Rock The Boat as well before her passing. The record label hasn't said whether or not they will ever be reLeased though. And also I've read that she had finished filming the first of her role in The Matrix 2. With her latest album, Aaliyah, we see an older more mature Aaliyah. This album was so much more than everything else that is out there. It's not about I like this boy and he likes me, she touches on some serious subjects. I don't usually get upset when celebrities die. I mean it's not like I know them personally, or that I've met them, or they know me or anything, but Aaliyah had so much going for her, and she was such a talented person. It is most definitely a loss to the music & film communities, as well as, to us the fans. We at Hulaboy.com wish to express to most sincere condolences to the family of Aaliyah, as well as the record company, friends, and all of her fans around the world. You will truly be missed "exalted one" Get the latest news updates from and on her official site Aaliyah2001 For more pics of Aaliyah, click here.
